Return Policy
We accept returns for items that are Dead on Arrival (DOA) or have a hardware defect.
What’s Not Covered
Returns will not be accepted for:
- Damage caused by misuse or abuse
- Damage due to neglect or lack of reasonable care
- Natural disasters or force majeure events
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Water damage on non-water-resistant items
- Lost or stolen products
Support Eligibility
This return policy applies only to products purchased directly through birdsofourlives.com.
We do not support returns for items bought from third-party sellers or other websites.
How to Start a Return
Step 1: Contact our team at hello@birdsofourlives.com and include your order number and a brief description of the issue.
Step 2: We’ll coordinate with our fulfillment partner and provide return instructions based on the issue. Depending on the diagnosis, we’ll arrange either a refund or replacement.
Step 3: Once you receive the return instructions, you’ll need to ship the item back within 5 days. If the item isn’t returned within this window, the return may be declined.
Refund Timeline
Refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days after we receive your return tracking number.
Return Shipping Costs
- If the item is defective or arrived damaged, Birds of Our Lives will cover return shipping via UPS or DHL Business Express.
- If the return is due to buyer preference or a non-defective issue, you’ll be responsible for return shipping costs.
