What’s Not Covered

We do not cover damage caused by:

  • Misuse or abuse
  • Lack of reasonable care
  • Natural disasters or force majeure
  • Unauthorized repairs or tampering
  • Water damage (on non–non-water-resistant products)
  • Theft or loss of the product

How to Start a Return

Step 1:

Email our customer support team at hello@birdsofourlives.com. Include your order number or support ticket.

Step 2:

We’ll review the issue and send return instructions. Based on the issue, we’ll either process a refund or send a replacement.

Step 3:

Ship the product back to us within 5 business days of receiving return instructions. Returns sent after this window may be rejected.

Refund Timeline

Once we receive your return tracking number, refunds are processed within 3–5 business days.

Who Covers Return Shipping?

  • If the product is defective:
  • Birds of Our Lives will cover the return shipping cost (via UPS or DHL Business Express only). We pay the carrier directly.
  • If you're returning for personal reasons (e.g., changed your mind):

This item is well built, looks good and really a good camera. Only thing was disappointing to me is that I wanted the purple one and got red instead, they advertised a couple of colors but no button to make your choice. Strange. This is my second one. They are great. It is funny to actually watch where people hang these, shows the feathered friends and the backdrops of people sitting on porches, windows, alleys and nice back yards with swimming pools! Fun stuff!
